Hydrocarbons Law, Partnership Contracts, Principles of Petroleum PolicyAbstract
Petroleum policies are implemented through the development of the legal and legislative frameworks governing the sector. Algeria seeks to preserve its position in the global oil market, which has led it to adopt several reforms intended to keep pace with domestic and international developments and address crises affecting the national economy. Algeria aims to consolidate its position in the petroleum market and strengthen its standing in the natural gas market, which has become one of the most important instruments of national economic security from a geopolitical perspective.
