Journal Policy
The International Journal of Innovative Technologies in Economy (IJITE) is an Open Access journal, committed to making scientific knowledge freely accessible to researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public. Our Open Access policy ensures that all articles published in the journal are available to everyone without any subscription or paywall barriers, supporting the rapid dissemination of research and the advancement of technology and economic fields.
IJITE operates under the Gold Open Access model, meaning that all articles are freely accessible to readers immediately upon publication. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right to distribute it under an open access license. There are no subscription fees or restrictions on access.
All articles published in IJITE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to:
The only requirement is that proper credit must be given to the original authors and source. This ensures that the work is freely available for reuse while maintaining author recognition.
To support the costs associated with open access publishing, IJITE charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of the manuscript. The APC covers the costs of editorial work, peer review management, typesetting, and hosting of the article on the journal’s website.
The APC for IJITE is 120 USD. Authors from low-income countries, as defined by the World Bank, may apply for a waiver. Waivers are granted on a case-by-case basis, and authors are encouraged to contact the editorial office for more information.
Publishing under an Open Access model offers the following benefits:
IJITE is committed to the long-term preservation of published content. Articles are archived in multiple repositories and digital libraries, ensuring that the content remains accessible even if the journal ceases operations. Authors are also encouraged to self-archive their published work in institutional repositories or on personal websites.
Many research funders, institutions, and governments require that the results of publicly funded research be made available through open access. IJITE complies with these mandates and allows authors to meet the open access requirements of their funding bodies.
IJITE does not impose any embargo periods on its articles. Once a manuscript is accepted and published, it is immediately available to the public under the Creative Commons license without delay.
