Splenic artery aneurysms (SAA) are a rare condition, usually asymptomatic. They pose a risk of rupture, which can lead to massive hemorrhage and fatal consequences. A particularly vulnerable group includes pregnant women, whose physiology may contribute to the formation and growth of aneurysms. In this study, we present a case of the detection and treatment of a splenic artery aneurysm diagnosed in a pregnant woman. The article presents a review of the literature related to SAA, its genesis, symptoms, diagnosis, and possible ways of treatment.
