Abstract

Physical activity is increasingly recognized as an important component of comprehensive cancer care. This narrative review summarizes current evidence on the effects of exercise on survival outcomes, treatment response, and quality of life in patients with breast, colorectal, and prostate cancer. Regular exercise improves physical function, reduces cancer-related fatigue, enhances treatment tolerance, and may improve survival, particularly in breast and colorectal cancer. These benefits are mediated through anti-inflammatory, metabolic, and immunological mechanisms. Individualized exercise programmes should be integrated into routine oncology care.
