Peer reviewers are essential to the quality, credibility, and integrity of World Science. We highly value the expertise and time that reviewers contribute to ensure the publication of rigorous and impactful research in the fields of Engineering and Medicine.

Role of Reviewers

Reviewers are entrusted with the critical task of evaluating submitted manuscripts through a double-blind peer review process. Their feedback helps authors improve their work and assists editors in making informed decisions.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

1. Objective and Constructive Assessment

  • Provide a fair, unbiased, and constructive evaluation of the manuscript’s quality, originality, methodology, data interpretation, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Suggest specific improvements and highlight strengths and weaknesses.

2. Timely Review

  • Submit the review within the agreed timeframe (typically 14 days).
  • Notify the editorial office promptly if an extension is needed or if you are unable to complete the review.

3. Confidentiality

  • Treat all manuscript content as confidential and do not share it with others.
  • Do not use information from the manuscript for personal or professional advantage.

4. Ethical Compliance

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest (financial, personal, or academic) that may affect the objectivity of the review.
  • Report any suspected ethical issues, such as plagiarism, data manipulation, or duplicate publication.

Review Process Overview

  • Reviewers receive an invitation with the manuscript title and abstract.
  • Upon acceptance, access to the full manuscript and review form is provided.
  • Reviewers submit a recommendation (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject) along with detailed comments for both authors and editors.
  • Reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors in all correspondence.
