Plagiarism Statement

World Science maintains a strict policy against plagiarism to uphold the integrity and originality of scholarly research. All submissions must be the author’s own original work and must not have been previously published or be under consideration by any other publication.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Direct copying of text, data, images, or ideas from other sources without proper attribution.
  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without acknowledgment.
  • Self-plagiarism, i.e., reusing significant parts of one’s previously published work without disclosure or citation.
  • Improper citation or failure to credit original sources.

Plagiarism Screening

All submitted manuscripts undergo a thorough plagiarism check using industry-standard detection tools (e.g., iThenticate, Turnitin). Manuscripts that exhibit signs of plagiarism will be immediately rejected. In cases where plagiarism is detected post-publication, the article may be retracted, and appropriate actions will be taken following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for providing proper citations for all referenced materials. By submitting to World Science, authors affirm that:

  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism.
  • All sources have been appropriately cited.
  • Any reuse of previously published content is clearly disclosed and properly referenced.

Editorial Action

In the event of suspected plagiarism, the editorial office will:

  1. Notify the authors and request clarification.
  2. Investigate the extent of the overlap.
  3. Reject the submission or retract the article if plagiarism is confirmed.
  4. Inform the authors’ affiliated institutions if deemed necessary.
